Invite children, tweens and teens to deepen their Lenten journey. Lent is a time for renewal and reflection through fasting, prayer, and almsgiving. We offer free Lent activities to guide young people to live their faith more meaningfully.
Such activities can meet young people where they are and expand their understanding of this key time of the year. Whether you’re a Catechist, DRE or an educator, these free Lent activities are ready-to-use with accessible, relatable content for today’s young people.

Use these free Lenten lessons for faith formation classes, youth groups or Sunday school gatherings. Meant for parishes, these activities are for children through teenagers.
Lent Activity for Kids
Our elementary lesson plans for grades K–5, taken from our faith formation program, Discover! Finding Faith in Life, will introduce young children to the Easter Triduum, the Lenten journey, Palm Sunday, and forgiveness.
Lent Worksheet for Tweens
The grade 6–8 activity utilizes a complete lesson plan from Connect! Bringing Faith to Life, and have a chance to consider: What does God ask of me? How am I called to service and sacrifice? How am I to be Christ for others?

Another high school lesson uses Understanding Catholic Christianity where students in grade 9 will learn the roots of the Old Testament in the Passover, and then Jesus in the Resurrection, fulfilling the promises of the prophets.
