Join us for a workshop with John Roberto, Director of The National Community of Catechetical Leaders (NCCL) and Steven Ellair, Director of Content at Saint Mary’s Press. You’ll hear the latest research from NCCL’s project about parents and faith formation. You’ll also understand what a holistic framework for family faith formation looks like. You will walk away with practical approaches to family catechesis.

John Roberto is Executive Director of the National Community of Catechetical Leaders (NCCL). He has spent a lifetime working in faith formation—teaching, writing, researching, consulting, and developing program resources. His publications include Guided by the Directory for Catechesis: Transforming Parish Catechesis (co-authored, 2024), Lifelong Faith: Formation with All Ages and Generations (Church Publishing, 2022), and  Families at the Center of Faith Formation (Lifelong Faith, 2016). He was the creator and project coordinator of the Generations of Faith Project, a five-year Lilly Endowment funded project (2001-2006) to develop intergenerational faith formation in Catholic parishes across the United States. John has a master’s degree in religious education from Fordham University, graduate studies in sociology at Catholic University, and a honorary doctor of divinity from Meadville Lombard Theological School.
